Snow Farm Hanging Mosaic Garden Sculptures
August 3rd - 8th 2025
Mosaics are a great medium for creating outdoor artwork to brighten up your garden. Begin your sculpture by carving foam into simple organic or geometric shapes, and connecting these shapes with wire to create a hanging structure. Then, cover the foam with a layer of thinset mortar before applying a mosaic design. Students will use a combination of mosaic materials including glass and ceramic tiles to create colorful designs, either abstract or representative. All levels welcome.
